for X460-F120 – a user –
First I just want an updated version of this, not exactly. (Mine has 20,000 contrast ratio, better than that, I turned and 120Hz.) However, I have many problems with this so I write my review here for X460-F120
Before poor contrast. Perhaps the best movie to test the contrast could "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" I tried to optimize brightness and contrast a lot, but still lose the details, scenes of shade. (If I have more details in the dark, I'm bright in detailScenes.) Now I think I have somewhat the optimum conditions for maximum detail in both dark and light, but then my color seems a bit 'funny. (Not much alive, indeed.)
According 120Hz feature, as I said, not very good for action movies work. I pixelation (square boxes, the picture is broken down) in the case of "Strong Motion Blur free" I tried other values, but still have broken images. Finally, I just turn it off.
Third vibrant(Flashing) Edge: this does not happen always, but if the scene contains many lines, sometimes seen as a vibrant (flashing)
A fourth TV blackout times for less than 1 second. This occurs randomly from 0 ~ 2 times the film.
# 1 and # 3 is not done with my high 27''Monitor Dell (which was $ 650). It 's a very good monitor, and images are much better than this TV.
In fact, nothing of this TV is a good price if you "look LG47LH30 "which may be less expensive, but larger. Contrast this much better than LG (50,000 VS 20,000), although it does not offer 120Hz. The absence of these Scepter 120Hz means a lot because it works well, tend to proven technology LG or another.
I think Sceptre firmware update should provide a better algorithm, at least.
