DVD player quit working, poor viewing angles – K. Phillips – United States
I bought this TV a year ago, and completely regret. The main reason was that I bought this model I wanted a TV / DVD Combo. The DVD will be a bit 'strange act immediately after purchase, if I turn the TV to a DVD, it would turn, but the volume would not work. Then, beginning with sync problems when I stopped at any point of synchronization, if I turn away.
Now, one year after purchase, the DVD player failed within a fewDays. Regardless, the putter disc and says "NO DISC".
Also, once I set the TV I realized how it has a limited viewing angle. If you are looking, straight-On IT will be good, but the smallest angle and the colors are very distorted and the image is difficult to decipher.
One thing more, because the DVD front-load, the device is pretty square. Not a good candidate for wall mounting.
Westinghouse TV died at 21 months – K. OLEARY –
I bought a Westinghouse SK-19H210S in February '08. It 'was a decent, moderately priced HDTVs until suddenly stopped turning 21 months after purchase (and very easy to use during these months). I can not speak with certainty about other models of Westinghouse, but heed my experience!
New was $ 330 plus tax. Now it is useless.
Although its one-year warranty, I thought it worth if the company would be the problem (such as address, which would have to pay an everNickel for a TV that he would die in less than two years). A Customer Service Supervisor Westinghouse said that communicate only by their one-year warranty.
I will not buy a Westinghouse TV again, and you should not buy one first. A tip: Many issuers of Visa and MasterCard bank includes one-year extension of warranty on products with a guarantee of three years or less. If your bank offers this benefit, save the original itemized bills, your credit card and your warrantyso that a request via Visa or MasterCard.
Sit exactly here to see the picture. – Sidney R. Dobson – Apopka, FL
The image contrast / brightness is so poor that they get in front and central position, a sensible framework. The specifications say the viewing angle is 160 degrees. Lateral and vertical 150 °. This is a total misrepresentation. I would estimate less than 30 degrees in either direction. We put him in the bedroom, so that the display would always be the same place.
Don’t buy it – Roger Koster –
When it comes to an HDTV, you get what you paid. The price is low on this TV, but so is quality. If you have the image in front of the screen you get a normal picture. But if you look even at a slight angle, or are distorted by the side or bottom, color and image. But I think the sound quality is fine. If I were him, I would like a bit 'would pay more for another brand.
