This TV has amazing picture quality, even without HD programming. Has only 1 HDMI port, so if you need more, have a different model.

We love this TV. I bought a rear projection Sony 60 "for my family room about 4 years ago and have never regretted it. Then, of course, when it came time to buy a big one for the bedroom, we have made in technology and updated with Sony . if spending so much on television, pay a little 'more for the better. I am researching all my ticket purchases high so I expect that the quality is as good as it is. We have not connected to the side surround or a box HD and would never know. The image iscrystalline. We had TV for over a year and still no complaints. We feel like in the movies are, when we were in bed.
It is also very light and thin. I am a woman 125 pounds and I can not stand me. Ideal if you have the space to the wall, but do not want too much space.

This was by far the best picture on the showroom floor and got it for $ 1200-clearance at BestBuy! Suffer when I got home, I thought the picture when I only have a standard antenna for local stations. However, I was surprised, and the image in my Nieghbor led the work on Verizon's fiber optic line. He noted that there is no engine better then that picture of Sony Bravia created.
