Signicantly improved from 2 years ago – James E. Adam – Baltimore, Md.
I'll be a list of improvements that I found from a 47 "Toshiba LCD TV that I bought just over two years. My existing components (Sony DVD / VHS, an analog VHS / DVD and Blu Ray DVD Player (Brand) have been moved to the new TV.
Before the sound levels are now the same if I switch from different input sources, including anteena out. Previously, it was a mess (all others) and the standard DVD player, I had to increase the volume by 50-70%, almost the maximum sound level.Previously, I criticized the components. Nothing worse than watching a DVD and check the switch to sports scores, and was blown away by the sound.
Second position of HDMI ports on the back are much improved. TV older had attained more difficult access to the worst possible place.
In the third oldest TV, the image quality from one corner to the far side is blurred and unwatchable, now the picture quality is great from any angle.
The fourth control large remote is a bit 'smallerElimination of Mode Select buttons. I used it, but missed. And 'thinner, weighs less, but the keys have the same size and same number. It 's just better designed.
Fifth Trust me, that the State is better.
The sixth quality is better and faster action scenes are impeccable.
It seems that Toshiba has a really good job with these important improvements and some minor improvements that I mentioned.
My only complaint is that I wish there was a "CC" Closed CaptionButton on the remote, as it was really my old analog TV. Instead, you must pull the manual to find out. Normally I say to hell with him and I never found out.
If you are a first time buyer, happy that you waited until now to buy. You can get a better TV for less money.
No problems, excellent value for the money. – D. Conrad –
Like many other reviewers, I did some searching and technology, this TV is excellent value. Setup and use is simple and the picture quality for each type of input (relative to input type excellent) and good sound too. Use it for almost two months without problems. We are happy so far.
If you connect a Blu-ray, so that you do, or 120Hz TV, be sure to check that the Blu-ray is configured to send the right signal to the TVfor the hotfix. The Blu-ray players have bought, we set ourselves was to lower the standard refresh rate.
Best Bang for Buck vs Sony/Samsung – Huai J. Gong – Tulsa, OK USA
Pro –
The image is excellent, simply the best 46 "out there. Premium LCD at an affordable price. The color is off, out of the box. Factory settings are green too saturated, skin tones have a green hue to them. Fit you must get to the (green -13, -11, 7) COLOR MASTER DRIVE Color Temp (Medium), (-10) G under control, I have a problem, but I have to pay them only the right, without professional calibration. (Do not leave Best Buy to do that, they have no idea what they aredoing). SRT works quite well, not turn SD into HD, but improve the image. I leave my SRT Mode 3 level 1 (which has 5 levels of processing in three modes SRT-15 settings deifferent) who complain that most people probably have no idea. SRT Too much, the picture is terrible. SRT will be disabled if you have 1080p/1080i video source. If you have an upconverting DVD player you have to make them work outside the SRT. You have no artifacts observed smooth 120Hz mode as you can seeon the Samsung.
Cons –
Not like on-screen menus. Not like the remote control. A power outage caused my HDMI settings are messed up (the orange screen – very strange). Send an e-mail technical support solved the problem, unplug the TV and video source min, from the wall to reset it for 50-10. Color on Color Master enable + / – 30, but with a little 'more of ± – 15 articles are present in the photo is 30 unwatchable. Other then thata lot of problems.
