PIECE OF JUNK and WORTHLESS WARRANTY! – Lee – Oklahoma
I bought one of these TVs from Sam's Club in May 2009. As soon as I brought home and hung it, I discovered that the speakers cut out from time to time. I contacted the toll free customer service Philips and was a technician at my house until the beginning of October! Unfortunately, Philips has had to repair to a fool, no award process can not provide. After a wait of 2 weeks together after the craftsmen spend my original question, I decided to contactPhilips. Finally, Philips has put me in touch with a laboratory for about an hour away from my apartment. Once he came to my house are replaced, the audio / visual retired TV and told me it would be good.
The next day my wife and I saw a movie. The sound was working, but had difficulty turning the TV. I came to play with the power button for a maximum of 10 minutes for the TV to continue! I called Philips and the laboratory for further repairs to be discussed. TheMechanic came to my house, cut off the TV and found the A / V board, they had installed was bad. In addition, one of the speakers had blown a capacitor and destroyed the cone! The mechanic said he had speakers such as a replaceable unit, and come next week to do the installation.
At this point, it is the end of November, and I had already spoken to 15 different people at the toll-free customer service Philips (I wrote all the names). FinallyPhilips said to me, giving me a "renewed" TV in exchange for the piece of trash instead of the mechanic would call a different service plan. The only problem is that I have to wait 2 or 3 weeks for shipment. Or can I tell them my credit card number, so that the ship than I "renewed" TV immediately. When I call the "renewed" TV I send them the piece of garbage, and will reactivate the account of my credit card.
I decided the piece to them and ship garbagewait for the "renewed" TV. While I wait for the freight company to come get my piece of junk, I decided to make a film without sound passes through the television. I watched about 1 / 2 hours of film and the screen is pink and off the TV. I can not do it again! I tried about a half hour!
I called customer service rep to give the number 16 now and my piece of junk. Obviously he can not help me and tells me that probably was not even a letter of apology Irequested by his superiors or the company.
Now I have a 47 "piece of plastic that cost me $ 1000. I moved the entertainment center and put it on the ground. I hope my dog chewing on it. It would be ABOVE the quality of this piece of garbage. I learn from 3 wait 4 weeks for a "renewed" TV. I asked my money back, but Philips does not tell them that at this time. I see the message "renewed" TV and it must be broken and for me, my moneyback. I am never buying another product from Philips in my life. EVER!

This TV looks and sounds great.I know spec.s not know much about, but I hooked up to my HD-DVD and X-box and the picture was amazing.The sound is great too.I also had a cheetah smoothly.It everything was assembled and went to work during the hours of training.
Did I say I love this TV?
