The display is nice overall – has overscan by about 5-10% for videophiles that tech savvy and want 1080p content – blu ray, etc, PC, Xbox, you can use to examine the trade-offs. For those who do not know what overscan, … Overscan is when the projector projects an image on the edges of the screen to make a sharp edge (not corrugated) on the display. In 1080p mode, this means that you can not see the whole image. 1080p is more similar to 1000p. This is good for cinema and television, and soBut if you play, have a HTPC, Xbox, etc., then a rear projection TV with overscan that can not be automatically adjusted, not for you. Wii is 480p end, of course, and I 1700ishx1000ish HTPC. This translates into a 1 / 2 inch block on board and see the whole picture. I have owned severaly Mits DLP TV, including the WD-65100 (a model for $ 15k at retail and they are no longer) sell, I am replacing with this new model. Understanding that this is the series beginning Mits (Diamond), I expected a lot from TV.

Let's start with the image. it's fantastic. I do not pay for the HD broadcasts via cable, but all my local stations now broadcast in Hi-Def and the picture amazing. I can not complain.

But I can and complain of acouple of other things. in particular the quality of sound. ridiculous, What a joke massive insult! I am seriously on how terrible the sound is blown on this series. E 'terrible evil. I can seriously get a better sound from $ 99 portable TV set, offering as this series. Audio sounds as if you exit the basin 2 cans into the crowd. E 'disappointing, incredible as it really ruins the experience of image. I am appalled by this. Who signed the Mits should be on this audioimmediately discharged. I mean really? This is ur best DLP?

Finally, I want to make a comment about the FIT / Fine. basially, it's B-League. Plates are not snake. Plastic is a quality low-cost, flip-down door hides the front (so that the controls) can not be completed and wire and can not be repaired, it is quality, not just evil, pure and simple.

Believe that Mitsubishi has lost me with that sentence. I am a fan for years. Unfortunately, someone has done some reallyterrible decisions that my future will be loyal to the brand acid. and this is bad.


Poor Audio – Satchmo – USA
Low and medium volumes, vibrate the speaker buzz /. Mitsubishi is not able to do anything after 3 months and not stand by the warranty policy. Buy only if you accept it "as is" and issues relating to the service of his pocket. Absolutely amazing, can do without what they do.
