Panasonic 53″ HD ready TV. Best set for your $$ hands down. – Jeff Simon – Elk, WA United States
I had much time to research that I have to go on TV and you want a theater-like experience with a wide range of functions, and thus in a family receiving this series. The biggest test in my opinion after image quality (which is excellent, but it is in other reviews were dertermined) is the aspect ratio and how the TV deals with two different formats. (There are different proportions, but I speak in 16:9 "theater" and 4.3 "TV") This sentence does a good job, itsome basic formats in which to choose. If you are a TV, you can refine your image with completely different zoom settings can disappoint them. I found that it contained the perfect mix and I always find an aspect ratio perfect for me. The approach is called "just found a 4:3" the image and the Middle 2 / 3 's participation in original appearance and gradually lengthen the remaining 1 / 3 for the edges, this gives the encouraging results of television. On another note,Please read the manual to all shopping TV. Do not use the manual on the crowd, says the decline in 4:3 (TV (4:3) display resolution in the correct aspect, but there) with bars on the left and right side of the screen can be used less than the 15% of the time. If you do not get to burn the image and that nobody wants.

I would recommend Panasonic TV for everyone, this is my second and I will continue to buy them in the distant future.

Panasonic PT53WX53 or PT47WX53. Why pay more, for less? – –
If you want a nice HDTV and space, I recommend the 53 "rear projection Panasonic.

Takes a look at the reviews of Amazon, Circuit City (or the price, I can not remember the assessment between BB and CC).

The ratings were so stellar that I actually bought it sight unseen and shipped from Amazon. And man!, If I was right …. the quality and clarity is amazing, forget (do not prevent low-light and not playing for 1. 100 hours of burn-in … also avoid playing mode with 4×3black vertical bars for the same reasons).

If you do all the calculations, it's cheaper than buying from Amazon (but) only with a credit card, Amazon, because it sells for $ 1499 at Amazon, plus $ 119 for shipping … But then there is no tax (most states) and the CC triple Amazon is obtained for Amazon buys (and for every $ 2500 points you get a $ 25 Amazon gift code in the e-mail), almost * * get enough points for $ 50 Gift Code.

Promo even with free shipping, or $ 100 GC from BB,Amazon beats them, because of no sales tax.

IMPORTANT: All what I read and people in the tech sector Do not You (minimum wage sales clerks say CC or BB), the plasma is one too young for a technology not usually come with a tuner or speakers, it costs a ton more, and has a lifespan measured in hours (instead of years). My research suggests plasma lasts 5 years (and the beginning of fuzzy receive around 2) and rear-projection takes about 20 years (but of courserequire maintenance) during this period.

Well, I've also heard that you should stay away from the LCD rear projection TV (to get the gun standard Projector 3), since the type of LCD is driven by a bulb that costs $ 200 – $ 300; all the shots of 5000-8000 hours (but the signs are that your first time will happen in about a year … it seems even faster than the hourly rate guestimate). ) For the fairness of the bulb (on some models can be user replaceable and the bulb is coming down in price if thetechnolofgy catch, but would not bet on it.

The Panasonic 53-inch has a native resolution of 1080 (and I think you need a converter in 720 regular old cable transmit ringworm …. without a window, but because it is the digital image is not surprising, using a standard cable. .. but not me … I did not care for HDTV DVD and when I finally feel like shelling out of $ $ for cable HDTV.).

BTW, my last box was a rear-projection, and died at about 6 years, so I wasNot willing to buy another rear projection. However, after investigation, I noticed that my old box was known for a very high rate of mortality … There was also a class action. Manufaturers want to talk, but I do not care, because under different names, trademarks, and not, I will not compromise on human rights in a mark, because one particulr (bad), the model for 6 years. But I must say that it was not the producer of Panasonic.

Suffice it to say that IAll Gung-Ho for plasma and not the rear-projection, but after all the research and the information I specifically Panasonic rear projection, in general, and the 53 "model has won the competition hands down!

If you need information that all these counters, writing for others to see … These are just my opinion based on my research and this is a great buy … more opinions the better.

Panasonic Part Number: PT53WX53 (They also do the same unit in 47 inch PT47WX53)

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, BUY !!!!!!!!!! – Shawn – Monmouth Junction, New Jersey United States
I bought this TV last month, but before I did, I was browsing the internet for about 2 weeks reading reviews and compare prices. I even went to the electronics store that sells patterns to see which was a temptation. This model in all the shops I went in it was clear the picture was magnificent. The Amazon price is so / so, but all the price is negotiable. I bought from a trader connected with the Amazon and I WHAT A DEAL !!!!!!! $ 350 less than the price Amazon.

When ITV 8 days after the order has been delivered and opened. Then I realized how big it was, it seemed like the little shop of respect. I was satisfied. The sound was great, perfect. I bought some speakers and WOW. AMAZING !!!!!!!! 1 Tip-tuning, if the image people have of it, while pointing to a nature / animals / her stick to measure the good image of the channel tuning.

Negative-watts of power per channel is only 15W, and you will not be pretty, enclosed in a wall unit.other then that I love it !!!!!!!!!!! Will also !!!!!!!!!

Panasonic stands by this product! – Heather E. Risdon – South Elgin, IL United States
I love all the features of this tv … But what I really wanted to be a party, that Panasonic has given us first class customer service with this device! We bought this TV in November 2005. About two years ago, we noticed a green blob the size of a baseball on TV that has never gone away. After a while, 'he began to proliferate on the points (6 points and 2 green bruise of January 09). I finally had enough and called Panasonic and fixed it's free! Sent a technician to my house and extended the warrantycover the problem! They said they re-programmed an EPROM – but what must always be, Panasonic!

Avoid Toshiba DLP – Katherine E. Metz –
This is a tedious and expensive choice for every family, and should be avoided. You need to plan for a new lamp, which costs about $ 218.00 will be, in any year to buy. This does not refer to fees for service calls. A TV that will not be at any time and require a new lamp is a terrible thing. Toshiba call service is a nightmare.

steer clear of hdlp Toshiba tv’s!!! – AmeliaAirHeart – Fond du lac, WI
Whatever you do to control – free of HDLP Toshiba TV! We have for four years and our 4 lamp replacement. I suggest that while a search on the internet before buying, because we are not alone! There are serious problems with the lamps HDLP by Toshiba. More frustrating than to be your favorite program or a game of football and have nothing to burn the lamp, and no TV until you get a replacement!

Great Picture but too many issues….. – 1st time Mommy –
TV is too expensive for any questions .. Ive replaced the bulb in the last 4 months, speakers simply stopped working and now the turn evil habit thing again! I'm not about to buy another light! These manufacturers have come, that their product is going to charge these prices for TV!

Its all about the lamp – BK4U –
I have this TV for about a year and a half in possession. The picutre is good, not great. I have a very bright room, and still has a big picture during the day. More than 3 days, I heard a loud bang and my lamp went out. They say that the lamp should last about 7k hours. Since you can not run my TV 13 hours a day, I think it is wrong. It seems that this is a very typical problem with Toshiba DLP TV. I read that there are civilians and lamps Toshiba DLP.Its good TV at a good price, until you arrive at the price of a new lamp ($ 200) a year and a half figure. I would stay away from this TV or make sure that the lamp contained in an extended warranty that ID is available.

Good TV – Rod J. Kardorff – Houston, Tx
We have our Toshiba 50HM66 for just over two years. The picture is impressive, and we have not had any problem with it: Until now.

My wife turned on the television and heard a pop. Yes, the lamp is burned.
You are on the web for about $ 100. Fortunately, we have the extended warranty from the dealer. Will send someone to replace the bulb.

Many false information the reviews I've looked through.
$ 600 for a light bulb? Almost …
